I'm back??

A lot has happened for 3 years. Went to college, graduation in animation, spent months looking for a job, got depressed, found a 9-6 job but as an entry clean up artist in VFX... woah.
So the job is definitely a stepping stone for my career (full of uncertainty since the senior animators are always freaking out about being laid-off) but it gets mundane which is what's bringing me back to social media.
Although I'm pretty burnt out from the animation classes I took on the side, I feel inspired and I'll definitely try working on some illustrations and animations (never really uploaded animation related things here, huh?)
I guess what I mean is that I find art fun again. Less like a job thing and more of a thing I do to get away from a job. And because dA honestly has better compression for artwork than any other site, I may be just as active here as I am on instagram.
Not sure if anyone I used to talk to is still here, but one artist I follow pointed out my absence, so it might have been important to mention.

FINISHED COSPLAYS BRUH

I FINISHED TWO OF THEM. DURING THE SUMMER.
Pictures were taken and one of them fell apart because I'm bad at props but ANYWAYSSS... Two of them were photographed.
And I paid the photographers which is great because they do such a good job at a really nice price and I would feel horrible if this was free. So now I'm gonna sew and draw in the meantime as the editing takes place and... *planmynextcosplays* (which i already am set to do, after I just work on personal things and get ready for my semester)

My facebook has some con pictures up! These new cosplays I was referring to were young-deidara and hanji!
So yeah, I just have to share this because I had to abandon art for 2 months and dedicate my entire time to these guys. The prop was a horrible experience with foam board for me. There were so many all-nighters and I spent my time at the con being completely exhausted from wearing the maneuver gear prop and the lack of sleep. AND IT FELL APART AFTER THE SHOOT. Plz just let me sew things from now on.
I have so much to say, I just... what I disliked and what I liked... I could go on and on about what pisses me off about what I completed and what I'm okay with.

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
6 months. I was around for about 2 years on my old account but WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT AND THE TRASH ART.
2. What does your username mean?
ninjas give you wings. wings make you fly.
I made fun of the redbull ad, I guess. I ended up liking the name and used it. Also, I'm naruto-trash and I do indeed like ninjas.
3. Describe yourself in three words
introverted, obsessed, lazy
4. Are you left or right handed?
5. What was your first deviation?
A cosplay picture on this account but my old account one was... this thing? (the art struggle is real)
6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
I enjoy drawing exaggerated expressions. Anything to get some face that's so wacky and out of control to the point that people are laughing is what I enjoy. I'm not so good with serious themes, although I greatly appreciate them.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
ANIMATION. I want more fluid and exaggerated poses, mine are stiff and barely differ from the other! Although it's a broad concept and I'd be studying 3D in particular, that form of art is composed of multiple movements and how they flow from one to the other!
8. What was your first favourite?
Gotta love yuumei.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Art from people I watch and tutorials. Other than that, I'm not on dA very often or browsing. My faves are pretty random.
10. Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist?
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I've met quite a few deviants I've talked to in person, though!
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Pretty much my best friend and bro in real life, and the only one I trust besides family. We encourage each others art endeavours and geek-out. HELL YEAH, YOU IMPACTED MY LIFE. Also, wouldn't be a cosplay-addicted-fuckup if it weren't for us going to otak.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Blue pencil, sketchbook, wacom, photoshop/illustrator
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
My room. I can at least look up poses I should be doing to start a new piece or do digital pieces.

Not sure. I'm kind of stashed away and inactive unless I'm looking at friends'/people i watch's work.

Work in progress on instagram

So, I'm working on my new cosplays at the moment but I felt that my deviantart page should be reserved for finished pieces.
So, my WIPs are on instagram!
I already finished flashback-Deidara's jacket: (basically by spending my days and nights in the sewing room for about two weeks... maybe more...) and I'm onto other parts of the costume as well as props for Hanji from Attack on titan.
I made the full jacket for Hanji last year but I didn't have nearly enough time to get on with the weapon. I mean, that military jacket took the entire summer. So many fucking... things... happened with that damn pattern.

2. I draw pretty much all the time now. I'm trying to get better and still not satisfied, so I just draw intensely until I get what I want.
3. I despise when people make fun of my artwork. And I hate it even more when I point out what they did, and they just deny and cover it up with "AW, BUT IT'S SO NICE!"
4. I love cats and birds. I deny the fact that they cannot co-exist as house pets. Because I WANT TOOOONS.
5. When I wanna talk to someone, I'm usually too shy, so I end up stalking their page. (chill the fuck out, Oona)
6. IMPORTANT: My name is Oona and it is spelled (OO-nah). Everyone pronounces it as (Oh-nah), that is very wrong.
7. My dad is in actor! He did some voices for Assassin's Creed (civilians and such) so it's fun to beat those up and see my dad's reaction.
8. I have a good relationship with my mom.
9. I like trying weird food. And I love food. Always been that way, even as a toddler.
10. People are often fooled by my voice and appearance. They mistake me for a guy. IT'S FUN!
